Figure 1.1 A basic visualization of the splintering of both ends of the American Political Spectrum.      For the past two and a half months, America has entered a once unthinkable simultaneous descent into political extremism on both sides of the political spectrum. Some in my audience may find this statement perplexing for a myriad of reasons so some recounting of history is in order.       From about 2015 and the rise of Trump, the American Left had started escalating extreme narratives on a whole series of issues including but not limited to, immigration, gender policy and ideology, race affairs, foreign, and youth affairs. On the surface, one could attribute most of this rhetoric as a response to Trump and some of his illy-worded comments during his 2016 campaign, and there is merit here.
