12/15/2025 Oct7th +801 21:00 Hrs UTC-5       On December 13th, 2025 at around 16:10 hrs (4:10pm)UTC -5, during final examinations, a gunman opened fire in a classroom. Over the coming hours, shelter-in-place orders were enacted by campus public safety and eventually, police will escort students off their campus. As police began picking up the pieces, the horror of the aftermath became clear. Nine were wounded. Two lay murdered. As much as the motive of the gunman is still unclear and the gunman is still at large at the time of writing, One thing must be made clear, universities are supposed to be arenas of ideas and thoughts, NOT as places for violence to be displayed in lethal fashion. 12/14/2025 Oct7th +800      At around 18:40 hrs (6:40pm) UTC+11, on December 14 2025, the First night of Hanukkah, gunmen descended on Bondi Beach and attacked a ‘Hanukkah by the Sea’ community event. Multiple casualties have been reported, and at the time of writing, 16+ are confirmed dead with numerous wounded. May their memory be a blessing.      This act of antisemitic terrorism is the latest in a long string of antisemitic incidents in Australia, and globally. The highs and lows, triumphs and tragedies, times of joy and times of grief. We live in weird times, where one finds themselves grieving as they dance. For many of us, this has been reality for the past two years and is something we will live with for a while. Despite these complex realities, the following is something I have waited to say for a long time. It is with great pleasure, to state, for the first time in a long time, we are entering the first Winter with NO LIVING HOSTAGES in Gaza , the last 20 Living Hostages having been released in a deal on October 13th, 2025 .
