A Vow in the Storm

May be simply read or sung along with the melody of the USNA ’Navy Blue and Gold’.

Now college men from sea to sea

May boast of virtues true

But who has better right than we

To hoist up freedom’s hue

Like sailor men in battle fair

Since fighting days of old

Have proved the sailor's right to wear

The Navy Blue and Gold

Four years together in the Halls

Whеre youngfolk join thе tide

Then Hist’ry called us to the fray

We're scattered far and wide

But still when two or three shall meet

And old tales be retold

From low to highest of our flock

We'll pledge the cause we hold

So hoist our colors, hoist them high

And vow allegiance true

So long as sunset gilds the sky

Above the ocean blue

Unlowered shall those colors be

Whatever fate they meet

So glorious in victory,

Triumphant in defeat
