A Statement on Operation Epic Fury and Operation Lion’s Roar

In the 250th Year of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America, and the 78th Year of the Establishment of the State of Israel


     At approximately 03:00 hrs UTC-5 (10:00 hrs UTC+2), the United States Armed Forces and the Israeli Defense Forces conducted a coordinated preemptive strike against the Islamic Republic in Iran. All targets, that are known by various open intelligence sources, are either military in nature and/or are assets used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of the Islamic Republic. The Islamic Republic in return, has struck US military sites in Qatar, Bahrain, and the UAE. In addition to civilian sites in Israel, Jordan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait. Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE among other regional powers have been able to intercept a majority of Islamic Republic missiles and Unmanned Areial Systems (UAS). Make no mistake, the Islamic Republic was an entity that funded terrorist organizations like Hamas and backed the October 7th attacks of 2023. 

      Not far off is the Holiday of Purim, a holiday that remembers Queen Esther, a Jewish girl who became queen of Persia and helped stop a plot to annihilate the Jews of the Persian Empire. Just as Esther did before her, the State of Israel now is fighting back a foe that had attempted to annihilate the Jewish People and the State of Israel on numerous occasions and by various vectors.

     And in a month and a half, it will be the 251st anniversary of the Battle of Lexington. The moment when ordinary men’s desire for Liberty outweighed their fear of death. The Iranian people for a few months now have been protesting their regime, and the IRGC in return have brutally massacred protesting civilians. The American and Israel Strikes now serve to the Iranian people what French assistance did to the American Cause of Independence. This isn’t me, President Donald Trump phrases it as such,


“Finally, to the great proud people of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand. … When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will probably be your only chance for generations.”

   Those killed for their desire for freedom in the recent protests against the Islamic Republic, shall go down in history as men and women who gave their lives in the furtherance of Liberty. We once said we highly resolved that those slain in the furtherance of Liberty not die in vain. We have acted on that vow. The hour is nigh for the Iranian People to reclaim their freedom once and for all.

A Statement on the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

09/14/2025      I never knew him, not personally nor professionally. However, I have been following him and his activities throughout college campuses over the years, and especially the organization that he would found, Turning Point USA. I even had the opportunity to see him, albeit from a far, being held back by protestors. For some, he was a role model, for others his name was short-hand for things they disagreed with. For some still, he was a friend, a father, and a husband. On September 10th, 2025, Charlie Kirk was fatally shot while at one of his stops on his America Comeback tour. This was an act of extremist violence. Charlie was shot merely because someone else didn’t agree with him. He was not a politician, he was merely a guy that wanted a chat, and was shot for it. When does a University Lose its Utility?

  Disclaimer: As someone who is concerned about bias, I think it is important to state the following. I work at a university in a research capacity, where this work is funded by federal funds/grants. I am acutely aware that I will be discussing the utility of such work to the Nation and population. In addition, I will primarily be discussing 4-year university institutions that host undergraduate/graduate programs. Also this article specifically discusses only institutions in the United States.
